As a solo-attorney, I was really on the fence about spending money for a 24/7 receptionist like AL provides. But since human connection feels more important today than ever, I decided to give it a try. Chris, their Dir of Sales, provided white-glove service throughout the whole onboarding process and answered every question I asked with specifics. After a two week trial of emails about every missed call, I was hooked. More importantly than me however, are the potential clients and other attorneys who call and speak to an AL agent: they are delighted by their conversations. How do I know? About once a week someone who's trying to get a hold of me lets me know how impressed they are with my answering service and says something like, "I didn't know you hired someone new" or "that person was so kind - nice touch with whoever is answering the phone." This is a good reminder that so long as clients and referral partners are delighted with AL, I can only be delighted with them as well.

The staff is clearly trained in the right legal lingo and they are professional and prompt with their text/email updates. If my staff and I cannot get to the phone, I immediately know all the details of a call -- who, when, why and how to return the call. We (Suhre & Associates) have been using Answering Legal since April 2024 after having had a very challenging experience with another answering service. Answering Legal addresses issues immediately. They listened thoroughly in the beginning to our needs and implemented a well designed flow for calls. We have a very complicated on-call schedule that incorporates several different attorneys taking calls for different areas across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The attorneys are happy and the clients are taken care of and routed to the right person almost every time. We recently had a client tell us that the receptionist was very kind to him during a very rough mental day over the weekend. The Answering Legal employee was the first person who listened to him and was nice. They are exactly the same to us as clients when we call to change anything or ask about any problems. They are extremely professional all around. When you need to outsource a service for answering your calls, Answering Legal is the best!
