Easy Social Media Marketing For Your Firm

A law office isn’t a place you can go browse through, like a department store or the mall, and it’s important to let people know that you exist. Most times people don’t know what they’re looking for, whether they’re shopping for new shoes, or an attorney to help them with their case. This is why it’s important to let everyone know that you’re still open for business, as obvious as it may seem. Social Media is an easy and extremely affordable medium that allows you to reach people in your general vicinity. You can even sponsor your twitter posts for nearby viewers, enabling them to see your posts without them even following you.
For starters, your social media is an easy way to show that you are actively practicing, handling cases, and ready to take on new projects as they arise and occur. One tweet a day makes a difference, because maybe that new client goes to investigate a little bit about you before they call your office. Your social media marketing is free!
When potential new clients see that you have an active twitter account, regaling about the trial verdict you just received, a personal injury settlement, a bankruptcy filing, or a divorce agreement, people know that their efforts to reach you won’t be in vain.
The same can be said for your website – a simple blog post every now and again with a weekly update of the cases you are handling and the positive outcomes you’ve reached for you clients can go a long way. Not only does this let new clients know you are active, google actually sees it favorably. New content that doesn’t just try to sell people who view it is actually viewed more favorably than your competitor’s site without any new content, that only seeks to have potential clients fill out a consultation form and wait for the attorney to follow up with him/her.
Your website, Twitter, Facebook, Blogspot, Pinterest, and even Instagram can play a huge role in letting your new clients you are ready and willing to take on their case!
