How Top Lawyers Are Using Softwares For Their Firms: A Survey Article
Question #2: Do you use a calendaring software for your firm? If so, which software?
We were not at all surprised to learn that about 40% of those surveyed use Google Calendar, and almost 20% use Outlook calendar.
We were surprised to learn that no one we asked uses Calendly, Setmore, or Youcanbook.me! Of course, Google Calendar and Outlook are free, but there are some really great features that Calendly, Setmore, and Youcanbook.me offer!
Calendly integrates with your existing calendar to help you setup up sophisticated scheduling with groups, individuals, and even allows you to distribute meetings among multiple team members. There is even a team wide page where you can display your entire company’s availability on one page.

Setmore is a great booking tool that integrates with everything you could possibly think of.
It has an iOS app, scheduling features, can collect payments, and create sophisticated appointments just like Calendly. Setmore even sets up recurring appointments and can be extremely useful for performing multiple tasks inside of your scheduling platform.

Youcanbook.me is a great tool for managing your availability.
Rather than discuss what time you are available to meet with a client, they can check your availability inside of youcanbook.me and schedule an appointment for a time slot that works for them as well.
It can also detect time zones and configure accordingly, say, for a conference call on the west coast when you are on the east coast. You can even customize your confirmations and reminders not only for yourself but for the person who has booked the appointment with you. Automate your entire system so that neither you nor your clients miss your appointments!
