Six Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Our Flat Rate Answering Service

At Answering Legal, we’re smart enough to know that trying to overcharge or present an unfair price tag to a lawyer isn’t going to end very well. And since our phone answering service exclusively serves law firms, we knew it was important to develop a pricing plan that even the stingiest of attorneys would have trouble complaining about.
That’s why Answering Legal is proud to be a flat rate answering service. We offer our customers flat rate pricing plans that are transparent, and easy to keep track of. With us, the price tag you sign up for at the beginning of the month, is the price tag you’ll pay at the end of it. No unpleasant surprises.
We’re confident that all attorneys will quickly grow to love using our flat rate answering service, and here are six reasons why.
1. We Have Minutes Packages For Firms Of Every Size
Answering Legal is a service that can be trusted and enjoyed by both lawyers at large firms and solo practitioners. After taking you through an initial free trial period, in which we’ll carefully measure and access your call volume and call handling needs, you’ll be offered a customized pricing plan with a personalized quote for your firm. In other words, you don’t have to meet our pricing needs, we’ll work to meet yours.
2. We’ll Charge You By The Minute, Not The Call
A lot of phone answering services out there, including some of our top competitors, will charge businesses by the call, rather than by the minute. Why does this end up being problematic? Because the businesses using these answering services get charged the same for their really short calls, as they do for their really long calls. So you’ll end up paying the same for a 30-second long call as you would for a 45-minute long call. Something seems off about that, don’t you think? And many times, answering services’ receptionists will be instructed to rush through client calls, because the more calls they get to, the more money they make.
Our pricing is executed on a per-minute basis, meaning you only pay for the time a phone call occupies your dedicated phone number. Once that call is ended, or as soon as it is transferred to you, we no longer count the call duration towards your minute usage. This provides assurance that you’re only be charged for the time our receptionist team spends talking to your clients, and that our receptionists will have no reason to rush through your calls.
3. Our Premium Features Don’t Cost Extra
Another common trick of phone answering services, is to promise a boatload of additional features, but tack on surprise fees when businesses actually use them. When using such services, you’ll need to look closely at the fine print, because you’re likely not getting what you’re paying for.
With Answering Legal’s flat rate answering service, you’ll get access to extensive phone answering features, without having your monthly bill go up a cent. You’ll enjoy additional features such as live call transferring, full legal intake, and bilingual receptionists without needing to worry about examining your terms to see what you will and won’t be charged for.
4. We’ll Only Charge You For Business Calls
A lot of lawyers will use a phone answering service, and will end up shocked by the final total of their monthly bill. The reason for this is that they often are getting charged for both business and non-business related calls fielded by their answering service. We at Answering Legal think this is bad business. After all, you’re paying for a service to answer calls from your clients, not to answer calls from telemarketers.
Our flat rate answering service will only charge your for calls from clients and people related to your business. Calls from your family and friends that are fielded by our answering service also won’t count against your monthly minute total.
5. Adjustments To Your Account Can Be Made At Any Time
Planning for the future at a law office can be challenging. For example, if your practice brings on a few new significant clients in the middle of next month, your office may require a lot more phone answering coverage than previously expected. If your call handling needs change in a hurry, Answering Legal can make adjustments to your pricing plan in a hurry. Call us at anytime, and you’ll get to speak with a knowledgeable Answering Legal representative, that can help make the proper adjustments to your monthly minutes plan.
It’s also important to note that you can move on from our service at anytime without financial penalty, a guarantee that you’ll struggle to find from other answering services.
6. You’ll Get To Try Out Our Service For Free
You’ve heard enough about our pricing plans. Now it’s time to get you started with a free trial of Answering Legal, so you can see if you like what our service has to offer.
