Answering Legal offers professional, customizable call transferring—so only the calls you want reach you in real time. Whether you’re in court or at your desk, we’ll screen every call and connect you with important contacts when you’re available.

Types of Transfers

Warm Transfer (Most Common)

  • We answer the call, screen the caller, and then call you to confirm if you’re available.
  • If you say yes, we connect you and the caller directly.
  • If no, we take a message and notify the caller you'll follow up.

Cold Transfer (Optional)

  • We connect the caller to you without prior screening. This is rarely used and must be requested.

Message-Only Backup

  • If you’re unavailable or outside transfer hours, we take a full message and deliver it instantly.

What You Can Customize

  • Who gets transferred calls (e.g., you, your assistant, or another attorney).
  • When transfers are attempted (e.g., 9 AM–5 PM only, or for urgent matters 24/7).
