How To Maximize Your Blogging Potential

I know that I have written a post on blogging before, and I am not sorry for doing it again; blogging is important. This will not be the last time I write about it either! Even working for a niche practice, a 24/7 legal answering service, our blogging and web presence is essential to our business! Answering Legal serves as an extension of our clients’ law firms, and therefore we are the only real choice as a law firm 24/7 live answering service! Here are some tips to maximize your blogging potential, and even enjoy blogging as an outcome! Also, feel free to check out some of our video page for helpful tips as well.
Keyword Blogging:
Keywords are extremely important. Keywords are the phrases that users search on Google or other search engines. The better you rank for certain keywords, the higher up on google your site will be displayed. This is where blogging comes in:
Blog about a keyword you would like to rank for!
Cheap manipulation of keywords will likely be understood by Google as just that – manipulation. If you set out to write meaningful content on a topic you would like to rank for, it will boost your rankings within Google and help users find you! For example: if you are a Louisiana Criminal Attorney, and you would like to rank for New Orleans Traffic Tickets, write a blog post about getting a traffic ticket in New Orleans! This could be a how-to of hiring an attorney, why you need an attorney for your ticket, and what the process will undertake when you decide to fight your ticket. Make sure to include the keywords in your blog! This is really not cheap manipulation since your content will be meaningful, helpful, and well-written by you!
Social Media:
Social Media is the easiest way to increase the views on your new blog, and increase your overall reach. Here is the process you should take when posting your articles on Social Media:
First: Post your article on your website! This way, when people click your blog post that they see on social media, it will drive traffic to your WEBSITE – where you desire that traffic the most.
Second: Copy the link from the blog post and paste it as an update or status on your Social Media! I have found Twitter and LinkedIn to be the most helpful social media outlets. This “link” back to your site will enable Google to see where this blog originated from, and will reward your site within Google’s rankings!
Third: Add a caption or a call to action in your update! This could be as simple as: “Check out my new blog post!” If you do not ask your readers to actually read your blog posts, why would they? Do not let them keep scrolling, beckon them to read!
Oh, and eventually if your blog becomes successful and you get featured on someone else’s website, remember that this is only helpful! Make sure to include the link to your website on all of your blog posts.
Happy Blogging!
